While it’s not the perfect solution for all calorie needs, it is considerably less than 119 calories found in one tablespoon of olive oil.
The fact is that cooking sprays can reduce oil consumption if you spray it for less than five seconds. But different cooking sprays are created equal. American Heart Association (AHA) suggests avocado oil, grapeseed oil and canola oil as the most effective cooking oils. AHA recommends that oils contain less than 4 grams of saturated fat per tablespoon and without trans fats.
